The Low-Income Forum on Energy (LIFE) has established a scholarship to assist individuals from nonprofit organizations, government agencies, tribal organizations, and educational institutions who are unable to afford the cost of registration for the LIFE 2018 Statewide Conference. Priority will be given to those applicants who are first time attendees, who have an important link to low-income energy issues, or whose attendance would likely result in furthering the mission of LIFE.
Please note that each scholarship covers the cost of conference registration only. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the scholarship awardee. All applicants will be notified of application status prior to early registration deadline so that any applicant not receiving a scholarship can take advantage of the early registration discount. All scholarship applications are reviewed by the LIFE Scholarship Subcommittee. Scholarship Subcommittee recommendations are finalized by the LIFE Chair and LIFE Program Manager, jointly.
Scholarship applications must be received no later than April 13, 2018.
Individuals must be affiliated with a nonprofit organization, government agency, tribal organization, or educational institution. Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
Fill out the form linked below. The form should be filled out once for each individual applicant. For scholarship applicants who require a paper-based application, please contact LIFE@nyserda.ny.gov.
